Bookclubs in the school have been an even greater success this year than last year. 38% of our students now attend weekly book clubs thanks to the efforts of our dedicated staff. Sarah Purcell, our JCSP Librarian has been a great driving force behind this. On Mondays our 2nd year students meet at lunchtime. The library hosts our TY Book Club on Thursdays and on Fridays our Senior and First Year Book Clubs meet. Many teachers give of their time to make sure that this happens however all are agreed that every moment is worth it seeing our students so enthusiastically engage in reading. We look forward to growing this even more in time and welcome all students.
