Well done to our 1st year debating team and subs, who beat a very strong Enniscorthy Vocational College, yesterday in James St CBS!
The motion was 'All schools should ban YouTube' and our team had to propose the motion - a much more difficult task to think of arguments as to why it should be banned than why it should not, so doubly impressive for the girls to win this!
The winning team: Fiona, Jessica, Zara and Leah, with subs Kelsey and Caithlyn.
Zara also won 'the Mouthpiece Award' for best speaker of both teams.
Huge credit also to Ms McNamara and Ms O'Mahony who helped the team to prepare!
