The students of the Class of 2017 got to enjoy the result of all their hard work here at Margaret Aylward Community College, when they went off to college last September. They were very successful and the school is very proud of them.
Students went to seven different universities and Higher Education Colleges. These were DCU, TCD, UCD, DIT, ITB IIT and NCI. They are studying on many different courses from Business to Nursing and Management.
Students took up their places in eight different colleges of Further Education. These colleges are spread throughout the city, in Marino, Coolock, Finglas, The Liberties, Blackrock, Crumlin, Whitehall and Killester.
Students also started apprenticeships, training with SOLAS, and some started working full time.
The students thanked their teachers and SNAs for all their help and encouragement, when they came in to collect their Leaving Cert results, saying they would never have achieved so much without the team of people here at Margaret Aylward C.C. urging them on. We wish them well in their studies.
