5th and 6th year art students from Margaret Aylward had a fantastic day visiting exhibitions at the Coach House in Dublin Castle, the National Gallery and the Hugh Lane Gallery. We were lucky to get tickets to the sold out Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting: Inspiration and Rivalry and we also saw some of the gems of the national collection. Our students were wonderful ambassadors for our school and we received lovely compliments both from tourists on the streets of Dublin and from fellow gallery visitors. A wonderful day – thanks to all.
